About CPPM
Our Beginnings
CPPM's President and Founder, G. Tyler McDonald has been providing hospitals with professional staffing services since 2005. Tyler gained clinical and management experience as he grew his own anesthesia business from a single provider at one location to over seventeen anesthesia providers at multiple locations in the Midwest. His executive experience in rural and underserved locations has afforded him the opportunity to understand and overcome difficulties with sourcing professional services in challenging markets.
Despite Tyler's ongoing success in filling critical needs, he understands the need to "self-perform" whenever this becomes a viable option. Consider the subsidies your organization pays to third-party vendors. Although your organization may “rob Peter to pay Paul,” we believe that you should not have to finance 3rd party margins. CPPM was founded to provide an exit from this situation, with transition from outsourced professional and support staffing to an employee-based model.
Our Solution
We specialize in the conversions of contracted professional and support services in hospitals and surgery centers that typically require a subsidy or cannot sustain themselves independently. We introduce new service lines, generate new revenue, streamine existing operations and convert the laborforce to an employee-based model. We position our clients to enjoy permanent solvency, self-regulation, and sustainability of critical services.
There are three phases during the conversion:
During the planning phase we partner with the client facility to perform a comprehensive assessment of the client’s needs. Contracted service lines selected by our clients are targeted for conversion to employed in-house. Our fee is determined by the number and classifications of Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) that are selected for conversion to employee status.
Upon execution of the agreement, we immediately engage our transition team(s). Using their Industry expertise, our team’s partner with you to plan the design and execution of the implantation phase. A Transitional Roadmap is used to outline the logistics for each step of the conversion. Basic steps include…
We assume control of the department with transitional clinical and management teams. Certain employees and/or contractors are selected for continued employment.
We add transitional professional and management staff to provide operational support and training. As appropriate for your organization, our teams design and implement value-added services that are typically used to up-sell vendor contracts.
We recruit, mentor and manage clinical and administrative staff to remain as permanent employees of the client facility. Our teams are replaced with new and existing staff who have been selected for conversion to W2 status.
We then execute a seamless transition of operations and management to the employed leadership.
After the conversion is completed, we remain permanently engaged as a resource to your organization. For the first 3 years after the conversion, CPPM provides complimentary recruitment and management consultation services.
